Terms and Conditions

All orders placed on this website, via email or verbally will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Chair Covers and Venue Decorations

All goods and services booked require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount.
Balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.
A holding deposit is required for the hire of all venue decorations which will be returned to the client after collection and inspection of the goods. The client will assume responsibility for all goods hired. Loss or damage of any goods will carry a financial penalty payable by the client and will be deducted from the holding deposit.
Any damaged, marked or stained covers that are perceived to be caused purposely (i.e. not caused by accidental spillage of food and drink or shoe scuffs at the bottom of covers) will be subject to extra laundering costs by the client, or repairs or replacement charge of the full amount.
Any damage to hired equipment will result in a charge to the client for repairs or replacement.
Final numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event with regards to chair covers, table decorations, etc. Slight adjustments can be made after this time at the discretion of Starlight Weddings.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the venue will allow us to access the room from 7am on the morning of the event to set up, unless otherwise arranged. Chairs must be positioned and ready for the covers to be fitted.
In the event that the chairs are not positioned and ready we will do everything in our power to complete the job providing we have no other commitments such as another booking on the same morning.
Once the chair covers are fitted they must not be removed and the chairs must not be stacked.
Any items hired must be ready for collection from the venue on the morning after the event, unless otherwise arranged. Any hired items that are not ready for collection after the function will incur a daily charge in accordance with current pricing.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue does not replace their original banquet chairs with a different style. If this happens you must inform us as soon as possible.
No refund can be given in the event of the venue refusing access or not allowing any of the venue decorations to be used.
Starlight Weddings reserve the right to cancel any booking that may prejudice the reputation of the company.
All goods hired remain the property of Starlight Weddings at all times and the hirer must not sell, offer for sale, lease, lend or otherwise deal with the goods and must take all reasonable precautions to safeguard all items hired.

Handmade Stationery

Our wedding stationery is handmade therefore there may be a slight variation in colour and materials and products may differ slightly from photographs on the website.
If product specifications from our suppliers change we will endeavour to offer you an alternative of the same or better quality at the same price as your initial order.
We will provide proofs of personalised wedding stationery, at this stage it is the client’s responsibility to check proofs carefully as Starlight Weddings will not be held responsible for incorrect personalised stationery after receiving a confirmation in writing or by email.

Delivery and Returns

All orders within the UK will be sent via Royal Mail recorded or special delivery.
Starlight Weddings accepts no responsibility for goods lost in transit.
We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by any other third party.
Delivery dates are given as an estimate. We cannot be held liable for any losses arising due to failure to meet such delivery dates. If you have not received your order, you must notify us as soon as possible.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, you may return the goods within 7 days of receipt for a full refund.
Personalised items or items made specifically to your requirements (including handmade stationery) cannot be refunded unless they are damaged or faulty in which case they will be replaced or refunded.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
You must obtain a proof of postage as the goods are your responsibility until they reach us.
Goods must be returned to us undamaged and in a completely resalable condition.

General

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any price increase will not affect any confirmed bookings or orders.
In the event that an order has to be cancelled by us then a full refund of all monies paid by the client will be returned.
We cannot be held responsible for delays due to reasonably unforeseen traffic problems, extreme weather conditions, terrorism or acts of God.
